Boss species

Posted by Jatta (Joensuu, Finland) on 31 October 2012 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

Greenfinches (Carduelis chloris) are always the strong bosses of the bird feeders.
Blue Tits (Parus caeruleus, syn. Cyanistes caeruleus) have to be extremely quick for getting some seed.
The photo is taken again through the triple glasses of our window and also in a twilight this morning.
We got last night about 10 cm snow - wonderful!

I hope one day that blue tit shows to those greenfinches who is the real boss. :)
Nice shot.

Very pretty little birds. It looks like you already have a lot of snow.
